38th Great Lakes Regional Meeting
The 38th Great Lakes Regional Meeting (GLRM) of the American Chemical Society, hosted by the Chicago Local Section, will be held May 13 - 16, 2009 at the Lincolnshire Marriott in Lincolnshire, IL. The theme for this meeting is "A Better Environment Through Chemistry".

Healthy Classrooms 2009
On Wednesday, April 22, 2009, the UWSMPH will be presenting "Healthy
Classrooms 2009: A Public Health in Education Symposium."


This event (which was designed, organized, and implemented by our medical students) will highlight several aspects of public health issues that are important as we continue our school's transformation. Please consider attending this very interesting and informative event. "Healthy Classrooms 2009" will take place on Wednesday, April 22, from 5:30-8:30pm in the Health Sciences Learning Center.

This event is free and open to the public so please share this invitation with parents, teachers, and others in our community who might be interested.
