Interests

Why I Joined METC
I set University of Wisconsin as my dream school very early. When I was on my first international flight from Shanghai to Boston, I met an old lady who was actually sitting beside me. She was so kind and broad-minded that I can still remember her very clearly now. It was UW-Madison where she graduated several decades ago. During my five days in Boston, I happened to met with Dr. Tom Knight, a professor of Systems Biology at MIT. Tom appreciated UW-Madison so much that I made up my mind to apply for UW-Madison later in my application for graduate study.

Toxicology is a brand new concept to me. Its combination of Pharmacy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology and so on makes it very amazing to me. I feel very excited with the study of Toxicology, and I hope that our combined effort can contribute to the improvement of human health and environment.
